We should connect our dots and signs from the past. Dots have a pattern that we can easily miss. Dots are events and thoughts we experienced or had.
Dots we feared at. Times that we ran to stuff that helped us deal but only made it harder the next day. Times where we raised our voices or confronted because we were scared or disappointed.
It’s easier to remember negative dots, it is harder to connect these dots to a pattern.
Where were you happy? really happy and not for few minutes. Where were you really relaxed? exited and enjoyed sharing with someone? Who were you with? who did you speak to?
Nice tickle in your stomach. Calm and easy breathing. Small smile that just appear. A feeling that puts all fears in a box, brings them back to their real size.
After you have connected the dots, you understand on what to give up, and on what or whom to fight. What to improve and what to just put behind. Who is there for you no matter what and who is toxic.
Write it down and give it a shape. Take a breathe and go out to accomplish. Time to define and simplify. To move forward and focus.
The dots are yours and for you. And the answer is in the pattern.
